(viii) Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Elizabeth II, type 2, (C Beale, NZ 13727 CPO HMNZS Philomel); engraved naming. Approved 20 February 1961.

  Purchased from A H Baldwin & Sons Ltd., London, 1966.
• Notes:
  Beale was born on 9 February 1921 at Portsmouth, England. He joined the RN on 9 February 1939 from which he joined the RNZN in 1955. On his discharge from RNZN on 9 October 1961 returned to England. He was married with two children.
