Lot Description:1930 720B Class tender steam locomotive, road number ‘720’
(325x43x60mm) designed by Fred Shea and built at the Islington Railway Workshops, black livery, 2-8-4 wheel configuration, with eight carriages including 9,000 gallon oil tank and a refrigerator car. Scrapped in 1960 after clocking-up over 729,000 miles in service. (total size with carriages 1230x43x60mm). (10 items). Notes:[The 720s were intended to operate on lighter broad gauge lines, but after they began to spread rails they were confined to the heavier lines.]
