    (275x41x55mm) designed by Fred Shea and built at Islington Railway Workshops, black livery, 4-6-2 wheel configuration with three passenger carriages (total size with carriages 990x41x55mm). (5 items)
  • Notes:
    [The 620 series Pacific type locomotive was designed and introduced to fulfil the need for a fast and light passenger locomotive to work the recently completed broad gauge route between Adelaide and Port Pirie. The ‘624’ is preserved at the National Railway Museum, Port Adelaide.]
