from the Ropsha Service, the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St. Petersburg, the borders with ciselÈ anthemia against a blue ground and bordered by beaded and plain gilt band, the center with a gilded version of the Imperial double-headed eagle current circa 1827, when the service was first ordered, i.e., with lowered wings and with a torch and laurel wreath held in its talons, the underside with green Imperial cypher mark for Alexander 111 dated to 1887 measures 22.2cm dia -
