  1964 JAGUAR 3.8 MKII GROUP N HISTORIC TOURING CAR
• Notes:
  This well-known 1964 Jaguar 3.8 MKII Group N Historic Touring Car was the winner of the 2010 Ian ‘Pete’ Geoghegan trophy for Nb Touring Cars at Sydney Motorsport Park. This Jaguar started life as a competition car in 2003 having been meticulously built by Graeme Lord and has been in continual development since. The car has been run across Australia at Eastern Creek (Sydney Motorsport Park), Wakefield Park, Oran Park, Phillip Island, Bathurst, Lakeside Park and Morgan Park. The engine is a genuine 3.8 on triple 50 DCO/SP Weber’s with Rob Beere lightweight flywheel, valves, springs and baffled sump. Crower rods, Cosworth pistons, with ported oil pump, remote filter and accusump. Fitted with a 7 ¼ “ triple plate tilton clutch ahead of a Needham straight-cut close ratio gear box with uprated overdrive through billet axles and fitted with Konis all round. Dynoed at 342 bhp at 6,300 rpm and 317 lbs of torque at 5,100 rpm. Fitted with Tilton pedal box with adjustable balance bar, bond roll cage, sparco seats, stack classic tacho with tell tail, Mot-lita aluminium & leather steering wheel and even a Crossthwaite & Gardiner D-Type gear knob.  This impressive Jaguar is sold with a CAMS Historic Group Nb Logbook and would also suit other track activities such as Sprints, Hill Climbs and track days.
