  double barrelled rotary-under lever hammergun, made by F Bauernfeind, Heidelberg, circa 1870s, with beautiful engraved scroll work detail on steel lock plate hammer trigger mechanisms, signed to lock plate with hunting dog and bird scene, walnut stock with fine detailed grain work with checkered carved work to the wrist and banded at the butt plate, forend with similar checkering and inlaid horn tip, 10 gauge example with 76.5cm, 30 1/8 inch barrels, overall length is 120cm, exceptionally high workmanship
