  1967 JAGUAR Mk II 2.4-LITRE MANUAL SALOON

  A New Zealand delivered car, the first owner of this Mark 2 2.4 Jaguar was C.V. Stead Limited of Mt Eden, Auckland. It appears to have been an executive company vehicle for the first 2 years and travelled only 11,000 miles before the ownership of a Mr and Mrs Currie of Rotorua. It changed ownership in 1973 to Mr. Fred Yates having 37,321 miles approx. on the clock. Mr Yates traded the car via Fairview Motors, Hamilton, in 1975. Roy Savage discerningly acquired it with 47,432 on the clock in 1976. According to the Jaguar Trust Heritage Certificate, this car was built on the 3rd July, 1967 as a saloon, right hand drive, manual with cream paintwork. It was delivered to Shorters, Auckland, New Zealand, on 19 July, 1967 and the first owner was Mr C.V. Stead. Repainted in resplendent silver, the car retains the factory green leather interior. This manual 2.4 Mk II is described by Roy Savage as having a distinctive note that sings. Featuring the 2 Solex carburettors original with this model, the 4-speed manual in-line 6 with disc brakes front and rear could only deliver driving pleasure. Featuring steel wheels, spare and tool kit, this car presents with patina consistent with its age and use, offering a great opportunity to acquire an original car with solid provenance that performs as it should. It features its original radio. The odometer now reads 63,400 miles approx.
