  Very Scarce South Indian, Hindu Temple Sword
  25½" dbl edged g. blade with arrow shaped point, even soft brown patina & one sml area of approx 2" in the centre where blade has been rubbed; pierced brass overlay to the forte; traditional open hilt of bronze with decorative scalloped edges & pierced guard; bronze hilt & forte overlay soft untouched patina; vg cond. A scarce item, C. mid 18th C.
