  shamshir shaped wootz steel blade; 30½ " curved blade of wootz steel with lt staining & minor chips to the edge; Hindu Muslim hilt of traditional form inlaid with gold Kofkari of which approx 65% to 70% remains; o/a g. cond; complete with f. cond leather scabbard with repair to the point; o/a g. cond possibly mid 1800's.
