Notes:This work is accompanied by a certificate from Milimi Maku Arts which states: ‘This painting about Kunga Kutjara (two ladies) that met at a Rockhole, near Bumbali Creek, not far from the Northern Territory and South Australian border. This Tjukurpa tells the moving story of an elder sister bringing her missing younger sister back to her birth country after a long period of separation. Tuppy has painted a conceptual map of the country formed of expansive colour, signs, and marks of the two sister’s travels and sacred presence in the land.’
