Lot Description:A Melbourne private collection; acquired by the collector's grandfather, who was a missionary in Amoy in 1904, and brought back to Victoria in 1937
Carved as an open flower, the sides with a double band of petals, the centre with raised design of eighteen seeds and bi-shaped foot with recessed shallow base, the horn with a rich dark honey colour
