Lot Description:An imposing Chinese Silver covered urn, Qing Dynasty, late 19th/20th century
With large dragon handles, dragon finial, supported by three dragon fish on a pedestal base, the body finely decorated in relief with a continuous scene of figures viewing a theatrical scene of a battle; with an uninscribed shield, impressed marks "Wang Hing and "90 on the foot rim. With original wooden pedestal.
52cm high, 38.5cm wide -
Notes:Wang Hing was an important silver maker in Hong Kong in the late Qing/early Republic Period.
