    Collection includes : Pages from the 'The New Zealand Gazette', no. 50. c1907. Contains information regarding land titles and settlement. Six clippings taken from the 'The Illustrated London News', dated mid nineteenth century, with illustrations of scenic New Zealand including Panmure Bridge and the wreck of H M S Orpheus. Loose pages from 'New Zealand : correspondence between the Wesleyan Missionary Committee and the Right Honourable Sir John Pakington, Bart., M P, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the Colonial Department, on the importance of framing the Bill for giving a representative constitution to New Zealand with due regard to the Treaty of Waitangi'. ([London] : P P Thomas, Printer, [1852]). A coloured print of two Kaka's. Three engravings taken from 'Bankes's new system of Geography'. A coloured print depicting Te Tarata. A copy of the 'News Chronicle', dated Tuesday, June 2, 1953, with the front page celebrating Sir Edmund Hillary's successful ascent of Everest. A copy of 'The Illustrated London News', dated Saturday, July 26, 1845. Contains material relating to Maori and British fighting and a plan of Russell. All generally G/G-.
