  1934. A single photograph captured by notable Auckland photographer Arthur Breckon. The image depicts Jean in her aviation suit, holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a kitten in the other. A de Havilland DH 60 Moth appears in the background, suggesting this photograph was taken before one of her attempts to fly solo from England to Australia. Image shows mild wear but is clear and strong. Breckon's stamp to verso. G.
