    Group of seven medals including Boer War Distinguished Conduct Medal
    awarded to Warrant Officer Class 1 Band Master Edwin Armstrong Stebbing (born 30 Aug 1876, Poona, India) of the 1st Devonshire Regiment and 2nd Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Includes the following: Distinguished Conduct Medal – Victorian issue. George VI Meritorious Service Medal. Queen’s South Africa Medal with clasps for Orange Free State, Transvaal, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith. King’s (Edward VII) South Africa Medal with clasps for 1901 and 1902. British War Medal 1914 – 18. Long Service and Good Conduct (George V). King George V Silver Jubilee Medal. Edwin A Stebbing was awarded the DCM for conspicuous gallantry on 23 February 1900 after having carried wounded men from the firing line under very heavy fire during the relief of Ladysmith. Comes with miniature versions of each medal. In Royal Warwickshire display case. Accompanying paperwork for Silver Jubilee Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, discharge and character certificates.
