    Painted at Kintore, Northern Territory in 2000; Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs; Hogarth Galleries, Sydney; Private collection, Melbourne
  • Notes:
    This work is accompanied by a certificate from Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs, which states: ‘This painting depicts design associated with the large rockhole site of Umari, situated in sandhill country, east of Mt. Webb in Western Australia. Small rockholes at the site are shown in a row. The arcs represent the sandhills sur rounding the site. A group of women camped at this site to perform ceremonies before continuing their travels east gathering the edible berries known as kampurarrpa or desert raisins from the small shrub Solanum centrale.’
