Notes:"Camel" by Dulcie Sharpe is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, Alice Springs, Northern Territory which states: ‘This soft sculpture is made from dyed blankets. Local plants used for dying are collected from traditional Western Arrernte country near Alice Springs. Plants include a variety of eucalyptus leaves, native mistletoe, barks and native mushroom powder or spores. An array of found objects such as old car parts, washers, bits of metal and kitchen items are tied into the woollen blankets to make exquisite patterns. The blanket is then used as the base material for crafting this unique handmade sculpture.’ "Swan in Nest" by Dulcie Sharpe is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
