    the painting 24.5 x 15cm, the mount 28.5 x 19cm
  • Notes:
    The portrait is probably of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani known by his popular name of Ghaus/Ghous-al-Azam, a 12th century Sufi, buried in present-day Iraq.
