Lot Description:“L’AUTOPATTE” designed by Fernand Martin but made by by Georges Flersheim, one of his successors after 1912
With the original box. The orange vendor with hand-painted face; the wind-up mechanism drives the cart which, in turn, move the vendors feet. An award winning prize, as noted on the box lid. Box length: 19cm (7.5”). -
Notes:An example (without box) sold in January 2013 for US$6,600 after a battle resulting in 51 bids.
