Notes:[The 620 series Pacific type locomotive was designed and introduced to fulfil the need for a fast and light passenger locomotive to work the recently completed broad gauge route between Adelaide and Port Pirie. The ‘624’ is preserved at the National Railway Museum, Port Adelaide.]
