Lot Description:Rare pair of Chinese Huanghuali Table Top Chests
Guanpixiang, of rectangular form with a bail handle on each side, both double front doors with similar book matched grains, the hinged domed cover set with brass mounts, opening to reveal a separate compartment above a pair of doors with ruyi-shaped brass clasp and lockplate, the wood of warm honey-coloured tones with 'Guilian' (Devil Faces) grains.
