Lot Description:A black damask silk late 19th Century dress
with a bustle train back, front of bodice and sleeves are ornately decorated with jet beads and lines of cut glass buttons, the inner waist tie is labelled ""W S Clegg Costumier, Wilmslow"" (Possibly a pregnancy outfit due to the large volume to the front of bodice compared to the back, and has been designed to extend across the front. Skirt waist band also very large) Little signs of wear, six buttons missing from bodice. (2) -
