Lot Description:A black Edwardian silk dress with heavy jet beading.
The bodice has long sleeves and a high neck with pleated silk trim and a beaded and sequinned neck insert, the skirt has elaborate black beading and scroling patterns down the centre front panel. The skirt waist size is much larger than bodice, fabric in bodice and skirt matches but pieces appear not to go together due to their size difference. Label in bodice reads ""Miss Kendrew, Dress & Mantle Maker, Thornbury"" (2) -
