the front carved with four petals, the head inlaid with glass eyes, on a purpose made stand.

Provenance:

Acquired in Thailand in the mid 1990s, by an expat living in Asia
Notes:

The Chofa would rise from the roof top to ward off harmful spirits from the Temple.
