Notes:W.K. Norton was mustered in on 16 September, 1861 as a Private, aged 20 years. He was appointed Q.M. Sgt. on 29 January, 1864, 2nd Lt. on 27 July, 1864 and 1st Lt. Co. 'C' ON 21 November, 1864. Norton was appointed Q.M. of the Veteran Volunteer Rgt. in June, 1865 and was discharged on 23 August, 1865, aged 24 years.
