  An early 19thC miniature Newton’s ‘New & Improved Terrestrial Globe’
  published by Newton & Son, 66 Chancery Lane, London. Supported via the poles within a brass meridian arc, on a rosewood stand with baluster turned upright, concave triangular platform base and bun feet. Height overall 160, diameter of globe 70. Original condition, some surface marks.
