The 3 books containing 88 pencil, ink & wash drawings of early Sydney, other classical art exercises, anatomical, animal, marine, architectural, English & European town & country scenes. Some paper watermarked "Ruse & Turner, 1837". In 1842 the population of Sydney was approx 30,000.
