Lot Description:A reproduction photograph of Harry Houdini c.1910

Notes:Harry Houdini, the American escapologist flew his Voison plane at Diggers Rest, just outside Melbourne in 1910. The Voison was aloft for 7 minutes and 37 seconds, then a record flight. Houdini came to Australia mainly for a theatre tour and flying the plane was really a side attraction - a means of creating publicity.
