• Notes:
  Tibuzzi was a famous model working in Paris in the 1920s and '30s. Awarded a bronze medal at the Paris Salon 1935, a copy of the certificate available. Kavanagh an Irish sculptor and artist was awarded in 1930 the British School at Rome 'Scholarship in Sculpture', three years later he was appointed Head of Department of Sculpture and Modelling at the Leeds College of Art. An Associate Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors from 1935, he was elected a Fellow in 1945 and later became a member of its Council. In 1951 he took up the post of Senior Lecturer in Sculpture at the Elam School of Fine Art, Auckland, retiring in '68 and dying at his home in Auckland in 1984.
