  the obverse with head of Queen Victoria facing left, the reverse with lion advancing to left in front of a palm tree; around above 'East India Company'; in exergue 'One Mohur' and a line in Persian script 'Yek Ashrafi'. 11.69gms.
• Provenance:
  The estate of a Hamilton gentleman. Purchased from Randy Weir, Numismatics Ltd, Canada, 1986, copy of receipt of purchase available noting this coin as 'Rare, EF+'.
