A pair of WWI paintings on velvet of N.Z. Hospital ships 'Marama' and 'Mahena'
reputedly by the artist W. Cockell, painted under steam and moonlight, white crosses detailed to their hulls. Green lacquered and gilt decorated frames, under glass. 535 x 445. -
