    A Meiji period large Japanese bronze fire pot
    made in the lost wax process, the exterior profusely decorated with foliage and floral decoration with six panels each decorated with various birds and/or animals in relief, the side handles in the form of stylised elephant heads, the rim decorated in the Greek key pattern, on three plain triangular feet, on shaped wooden base. Maker’s mark to base. 580 x 360.
