  the 42.88cts. large natural sapphire with violet blue-light medium tone, clarity moderately included, semi-transparent and with moderate asterism. Valuation available noting 'appears to be natural untreated'. Purchased by our vendor from the Ratnapura mines, Sri Lanka, c.1960 for US$1250.
