  Engraving "The Geelong Exhibition" from 'The Australasian Sketcher' of 27 November 1879
• Notes:
  The Exhibition Building depicted in the engraving was designed by Robert Balding, the City Surveyor. It later became the Exhibition Theatre, then His Majesty's Theatre which closed in 1936. It then became Cowley's Motor Garage. It was demolished in the 1960's becoming Geelong's first high-rise carpark, eventually itself making way for the Market Square shopping complex which stands on the site today.
