  the clock symbolic of fertility, depicting a mortar giving birth to a putto in a puff of smoke which houses the timepiece, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, with an associated watch movement marked 'Baillon Paris' to the back plate, supported on a plinth bearing the applied inscription to the frieze 'Gare La Bombe', supported on four tapering feet
