A 20thC finely carved Maori stylised figure
protruding forehead, serrated inlaid paua shell eyes, tongue extended, three finger hands clasped to abdomen, well defined linial and notch carving, signs of wear. Height 455, supported upon a contemporary white lacquered block stand.
