  Two volumes, large octavo, each issue with frontispiece and very numerous illustrations, old binder’s cloth, the first volume with the first issue titling-wrapper (in place of the subsequently-issued collective title).
• Notes:
  An almost complete set of this important monthly, lacking only the two issues of the third volume, after which the journal folded. In addition to much else, the journal is notable for the literary content and includes fiction by Catherine Helen Spence, Francis Adams, Ada Cambridge, and, notably, Rolf Boldrewood (his three-volume novel Nevermore, set at the Ballarat and Omeo diggings, was first published here in 1889-90). The illustrators included Arthur Streeton, Frederick McCubbin, and Charles Conder, to name only the most prominent.
