  Gill, Samuel Thomas. Part the First Containing 24 Sketches of the Victoria Gold Diggings and Diggers
  As They Are By S.T.G. [bound with] Part the Second Containing 24 And Completing a Series of Forty–Eight Sketches of the Victoria Gold Diggings and Diggers As They Are By S.T.G. [wrapper titles]. Two parts, complete with the series of 48 lithographs, complete with the enveloping wrappers to both parts, a very fine set of the two parts beautifully presented in window mounts and housed in very large quarto morocco bookform boxes by Aquarius. Melbourne, Lithographed & Published By Macartney & Galbraith, August, 1852.
• Notes:
  Rare: another complete set of the two parts of Gill’s first plate book in superb condition, preserving the large enveloping title–wrappers which are usually cut down – more or less severely – on the rare occasions that they are present. Bowden, p. 122; Ferguson, 9920; Wantrup, 244.
