  • Notes:
    Scarce and early Sydney almanac: the issue on superior paper, advertised in the Sydney Gazette 16 December 1823: “In the Press and will be published on the First of January, 1824... Those printed on fine paper will be Three Rupees; and those printed on rather inferior paper will be Six Shillings.” Apart from the host of calendrical and official information, this issue includes a thirty-page section “Observations on the Garden and the Field”. Ferguson, 930 (not noting the signal plate).
