  The impressive carved and painted wooden newel post from the Grand Hotel
  Auckland, of large proportions with turned and carved detail including stiff leaf, swags and various panels, an Art Nouveau Victorian spelter figure of Industry mounted to the top supporting a mystery clock, gilded. Together with a laminated card with image of the post in situ at the Grand Hotel. Height overall 1990.
