  A vintage Chinese well carved blackwood hinged lid box on stand
  the lid, front and side panels carved with sinuous dragons amongst clouds with mystic pearl, the reverse with bats and telegraphic symbol, shaped brass capping to the corners, large plain brass lock plate and hinge with original lock, the stand with carved frieze, good dark colour and patina. 830 x 480 x 800.
