Edition limited to 225 copies. 198 pp with photo-lithographic facsimiles of Tasman’s original journal (53 pages with illustrations); 164 pp containing the text of the life of Tasman by Heeres, with a sketch map and facsimile signature of Tasman, appendices from p.129 to 163 printed in 2 columns in English & Dutch, then 22 pp with Bemmelen’s observations with 2 illustrations, (1 errata). Plus 5 folded maps in pocket at back of book. Blue cloth cover, gilt title on front cover and spine. With dust jacket.
