WINSTON CHURCHILL (1874-1965) British Prime Minister 1940-45 & 1951-55, an early hand written letter and signature
dated 3.7.00, Cape town to Sir Frederick Forestier-Walker, the General Officer Commanding Cape Colony. The letter was written when Churchill was a war correspondent and had been commissioned in the South African Light Horse. He had recently been captured and escaped from a Boer prison camp
