A N.Z. colonial Whau Pottery classical planter
the rim with relief grape bunch and leaf vine design, the body with four relief semi-draped ladies, lobed lower section, classical octagonal pedestal base, the brown/green salt glaze with variable effect. Height 570, some firing cracks.
