  An Iranian Kashmar hand knotted carpet
  decorated with a 16 pointed circular floral medallion on a field of palmettes and Islimi tendrils in light blue and pale colours highlighted with silk touches on an ivory ground, the field of slightly oval shape divided from the quadrants by a dark indigo section, all framed by a border of floral meander and palmette patterns enclosed by two narrower guards. 2500 x 1550.
