Auckland : E Pulman, c1873. Print size: 90 x 55mm. Carte de visite/albumen print. Mild fading to print. Inscription on reverse of card: 'Maori chief / King Country / Hati Wira Takahi / Ngapuhi Tribe.' The subject bears a full facial moko and wears a patterned cloak. He carries a peacock feather and a white feather in his hair. A strong image. G+. -
