    All brass compound minocular microscope by C. Baker, 244 High Holborn, London, in original dovetailed jointed wooden box with accessory slide in holder, box in excellent condition with original lock but no key, microscope stands 27cm closed and extends to 40cm, tripod base with upright pillars, has trunions, allowing the body to be inclined from vertical to horizontal, microscope retains most of its original clear lacquer and has rack & pinion coarse focus with thumb wheel tilting lever find focus. The square stage has a sliding slide holder & 2 slide clips. There is an adjustable centering sub-stage with iris diaphragm. The plano concave gimballed mirror slides on tube, attached to the main body, accessories are 2 eye pieces #2 & #4, 2 objectives 1" (in the nose piece) and a 11/2" oil immersion in this sliding holder
