Lot Description:A cloisonne enamel censer, Qing dynasty, 18th century
of squat globular form supported on a splayed foot and set on the shoulders with double gilt elephant head handles below the flared mouth with raised gilt rim, the sides decorated with a continuous lotus scroll of alternating red, yellow and violet blooms amongst green foliage, reserved on the dark blue ground above a band of upright lappets, the mouth with turquoise ground band of florets, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark in a square cartouche
