Lot Description:A hardstone inlaid three-tiered picnic box, Tihe, Qing dynasty
of hexagonal form with three trays stacked above one another, set on a base frame joined at the top by an arched handle through which is set a long locking pin securing it to the cover, the cover inlaid in various coloured hardstones with birds and butterfly beside a fruiting and flowering prunus tree, bamboo and lingzhi fungus growing among rockwork, the sides similarly decorated with precious objects and fruiting and flowering sprigs within silver wire borders
