    A large 'Longquan' celadon bowl Ming dynasty
    heavily potted of deep form, the steep slightly rounded sides carved with a band of peony flowers and foliage between vertical grooves at the base and a combed foliate meander below the lipped rim, covered overall with a sea-green glaze pooling unevenly short of the unglazed footrim burnt orange in the firing
